HBO MAX - Rebrand Film

I served as Creative Lead, Art Director, and Interviewer for this film. It took months of cross-collaboration to develop the new brand tone, colors, and voice, which was then written into this film. The object was to generate excitement, not just around the new brand, but also around the 'Creators' of the upcoming new content on HBO Max. The film was shown at WB Studios to investors, and was highly successful. 

Straight Talk Wireless - Brand Reimagined

In June 2024, I helped lead the rebrand of Straight Talk Wireless, bringing fresh energy and clarity to one of America’s most recognizable prepaid mobile brands. I guided the evolution of the brand’s color palette, typography, tone of voice, and overall design aesthetic to better reflect its bold, no-nonsense personality and connect more authentically with today’s value-driven consumers. The result: a modern, cohesive identity that strengthened brand recognition, elevated consumer trust, and positioned Straight Talk as a confident, contemporary choice in a competitive marketplace.

Before the launch of House of the Dragon, I was informed an AR app was being created, and we needed a TV commercial - asap. 

Of course my whole team was slammed working on the other marketing assets, and we could only scrape together $150k for the budget. All that said, failure was not an option. I'd have to do most of the work myself, with a three-week timeline. 

I wrote a script and found a production partner who could film the spot in NYC and render the 3D models, based on the wireframes we received from the app developer (all within my tiny budget). Once we had a storyboard, I cut together the animatic myself, got creative approval, and we got into preproduction immediately. 

Three weeks later I had finished the edit, and sent the spot through to finishing. On time and on budget, the (nearly) impossible spot came to life.
